Link deal advised on the sale of LA PALETTE COMTOISE

Link deal supported the sale of LA PALETTE COMTOISE to the EPALIA group

Société Jacquot-Baudier, better known as La Palette Comtoise, manufactures specific wooden pallets in Cramans, Jura. The company was founded in 1910. It employs around twenty people and is Iso 9001 and 14001 certified. Its manufacturing process is completely autonomous, as it has its own sawmill and a palletizer with two automatic nailing lines. The company also handles all transport. Its customers are mainly in the construction, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, metallurgy, plastics and food industries. Bertrand Jacquot, who has been involved in the family business for 30 years and took over full management in 2008, has chosen to hand over the business to Groupe Epalia. This group, headquartered in Lyon and present on 40 sites, is the French leader in pallet reuse. This acquisition will further strengthen Epalia’s local geographic network, expand its range of products and services, and enable it to integrate upstream for effective supply management.
