HYDROPROCESS, founded in 2006 by Michèle and Philippe DEREIMS, is based in Chalon sur Saône. The only French manufacturer of ultra-high-pressure generators and amplifiers, the company designs a wide range of special-purpose machines: waterjet cutting (food processing and manufacturing industries), neutralization of explosive devices (civil and military security) or hydroforming to shape mainly metallic materials using pressurized fluids (aeronautics, food processing). It relies on a team of some twenty experienced and committed employees, exclusive suppliers and a network of high-performance distributors. It favors simple, responsible solutions to design sustainable, safe and ergonomic processes that respect people and the environment.
In 2011, HYDROPROCESS developed a new cutting machine, “ChefCut”, to meet the technical requirements of the food and beverage industry (pastry chefs, chocolate makers, caterers, etc.), and to replace traditional cutting methods with very high-pressure waterjet technology for cutting fresh and frozen foods. Today, ChefCut machines enjoy international recognition and are distributed in 40 countries worldwide. Last November, the Evolem family office acquired a majority stake in the company, in order to pursue and accelerate the company’s development, particularly on the international stage, and will be able to count on the involvement of the co-founders.
EVOLEM is a family-owned investment holding company created in 1997 by Bruno Rousset, founder of April, whose mission is to promote sustainable initiatives in favor of entrepreneurship, employment, education and the environment.
