A few days ago, Laure TAICLET spoke at the CoCréa event. On this occasion, BpiFrance BFC brought together local players in the field of business start-ups to discuss an important topic: business takeovers as an alternative to start-ups.
In France, thousands of successful companies go out of business every year for want of a buyer. This is partly due to a lack of knowledge of the processes and support offered by professionals for these operations.
The purpose of our presence was to :
raise participants’ awareness of this issue,
-share our expertise as advisors on transfer/transmission,
-emphasize the key success factors in the process.
Discussions and workshops were held on the sale/transfer process, financing and, above all, the role that advisors can play in identifying takeover targets and putting sellers in touch with buyers.
